Gray Cast Iron is a type of casting that is widely preferred in industrial production processes due to its high carbon content, both durable and workable. Ahkemak Metallurgy has been offering quality, long-lasting and economical solutions to its customers in the field of cast iron with the knowledge and experience it has gained in the casting sector since 1973.
In our facility established in Konya in 2008 and having a production area of 4000 m², we produce specially designed cast iron products for the defense industry, automotive, construction, ship, and machinery sectors. We offer effective solutions in many product groups, such as engine blocks, cylinder heads, city furniture elements, and water and gas infrastructure parts.
The low melting point of Gray Cast Iron (1150–1200°C) provides energy efficiency in production and facilitates the casting of parts with complex geometries. Its corrosion resistance also provides long-term performance in outdoor applications.
